Members and guests gathered at the Greenhills Country House Hotel in St Peter to hear Sue Pearmain speak.
Sue is a long-standing Whiteley member and recently retired Advocate of the Royal Court of Jersey. She was the second female Advocate sworn into the Royal Court in 1974 and had a long career in Criminal Law here in Jersey. Sue regaled us with tall tales and honesty during her talk entitled, “My life in crime, or how I became a Procureur.”
We then were able to enjoy a lovely dinner and had the opportunity to to ask Sue questions afterwards and enjoy some time networking.
